Technology
Screens
We utilise our inflatable screens to provide the perfect outdoor cinema screen quickly and effectively.
We have a range of screens available, including:
5m (suitable for up to 300 people)
8m (suitable for 300 1000 people)
10m (suitable up to 2000 people).
DCI Digital Projection System
We utilise the latest DCI Digital Projection System which runs from our DLP® NEC1600C Projector delivering the highest quality output on screens up to 20m in size and Doremi 2K4 Media Server which plays JPEG2000 and MPE2k MXF media files all to the DCI standard. DCI is the required format from all the major film studios to screen the latest film releases.
E-Cinemas Projection System
We can also utilise our E-Cinema projection systems to screen on our multi-chip high end E-Cinema commercial projectors to run Blu-Ray, DVD and Hard Drive media files.
Sound
We use weather proof commercial grade audio speakers to deliver the cinema sound experience as close to a normal cinema.
Subject to your venue we can arrange our speaker system(s) in such a way to cater for a boutique through to large festival type events.
Networking multiple speakers and using our mixing desk ensures we have appropriate delays and can modify our audio performance specific to your site venue.
Radio Microphone
If required we can provide use of a radio microphone which can enable public announcements from anywhere within the screening field area at your event.
Portability
Depending on the nature of your event, in most cases Twilight Cinemas can setup in 1 to 2hrs and pack up within an hour. Subject to your requirements we can also assist you in terms of site barriers, fencing, and directional signage as may be required.

Twilight Cinemas can secure a wide range of movies to cater to your target audience.
All movies are fully licenced to screen with applicable royalties in place to comply with relevant copyright legislation which protects your organisation from any potential risk from unauthorised public screenings.
In general it should be noted that Movies currently being screened within mainstream cinemas are not available for an outdoor event. However in some cases Art House/ Alternate films can be made available.
As a general rule, once a film has finished its cinema screening season, it may become available for outdoor screenings within (8) weeks.
Twilight Cinemas is able to screen relevant movie content in both a traditional 35mm format, Hard Drive Format and Digital and Blu Ray format subject to the relevant movie title.
It should always be noted that all movies are subject ultimately to the relevant film distributors approval and licence being issued to screen so as to comply with copyright legislation.

Cost Summary
In general there are (3) options that can be considered:
1.One-Off Fee:
a one-off screening event where Twilight Cinemas are engaged for our normal fee.
2.One-Off Fee + Commission:
a one-off screening event where Twilight Cinemas are engaged for a reduced fee plus a commission % of your ticket sales.
3.Season Event:
Twilight Cinemas runs a season of film screenings for a heavily discounted fee and will administer and retain applicable ticket sales.
Twilight Cinemas are always happy to consider and discuss other opportunities for staging a screening event.
